Lynx is a Data Capturing application designed to maximise point of care data capturing and improve the quality of patient care, primarily when undertaking HIV rapid finger prick tests. The Lynx application forms part of the Lynx Testing and Data Capture System – a three-part system comprising of a native mobile application, a cloud server and a reporting portal.The Lynx application is suitable for deployment at any location such as clinics, mobile units, door-to-door campaigns, and is ideal for areas with limited infrastructure due to:• Sizeable market penetration (Android operating system)• Compatibility with low-cost devices• User-friendly interface• Integration ability with other systemsCUSTOMISATIONThe ability to customize the Lynx system elevates it as a prime candidate for with third-party programs and software. The Lynx application can be remotely updated, thereby eliminating the need to withdraw any devices from the field for mandatory updates.There are various modules and customisable functionalities can be added to the Lynx application namely GPS Position Reporting, Automated Site Calculations, the ability to take photos of documents, Signature Capture, Automated Testing Algorithms, Screening and Data Capturing functions.Many processes and functions are automated which enhance user experience.CONFIGURATIONThe Lynx application validates all data at the point of care by using integrated algorithms that ensure accuracy and relevancy of operator. The addition of skip logic, the strategic questioning sequence with relative dropdown capability further enhances the quality and usability of the application.User permissions and access to the Lynx application are based on the latest security protocols and industry best practice.DATA CAPTURING & REPORTINGLynx is designed to enable near real-time data capturing and analysis which makes use of a data connection for uploads. Lynx can operate in areas with poor reception thanks to an offline mode which stores data securely on the device.Superior data analysis and reporting are provided through the Qode portal or by utilizing the analysis and reporting services we provide. The Lynx application also functions as a counselling aid which supports users (councillors) in providing exceptional service quality to the client. The Lynx system logic incorporated into this application provides the functionality of quality assurance functionality that can be monitored externally and quantify the impact of any policy changes in near real-time.The Lynx application has an integrated web dashboard that enable users (management) to monitor the project and compile reports with minimal effort. Lynx reports can be generated in a static or dynamic manner i.e. reports can be pre-determined or they can be more interactive. All Lynx reports are automatically desensitized of any private information, unless determined otherwise by the project requirements.
